"Be warned there is a night club on the ground floor of the building which plays loud music until 1-2am I stayed on a Thursday so wasn’t expecting to be kept awake by this, but alas. Just worth noting."

"Close to the port if you’re cruising. Beautiful marina view. Restaurant n bar onsite which helps when you’re not familiar with area. Walking distance to city center where lots of restaurants, bars and shopping. We got upgraded to the best room in the house with a huge balcony. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great place!!!"

"It’s close to the train station, so for taking the train, it is convenient. The main part of town, where most restaurants and places of interest are, is a short walk away. The room is a good size and the bed is very comfortable. Facilities are great - including a working kitchen with range, fridge, microwave and even a dishwasher. The bathroom is functional, perhaps a bit spartan. There is a slight unpleasant smell from the drain (I think it’s from the sink). Other than that, no complaints."

"The only part we liked about the hotel was the location, which was close to town center. Our room was small, they have us the one in the attic, very dangerous for people traveling with kids because the stairs to room door did not have any other door to block. They dont have air conditioning, just heater, at nights it gets very cold but dont know at summer if ac would be needed. Breakfast was decent, not too many options but it was tasty "

"Property was great and in a great location near Les Docks. Check-in was very smooth even though we were 2 hours early. We noticed some stains on the chair in the room but the rest was very clean."

"We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Mercure Le Havre Centre Bassin du Commerce. The location is good. The hotel is a short walk from the station and the city centre with all the sights and dining options is also a short walk away. The room was a good size with a kettle, tea, coffee, and milk. An empty mini fridge. There was also a good amount of storage space. The bathroom had a lot of space to put potions and lotions to. It had shower only, no bath. We had one dinner there, which was very well stocked buffet of good quality items which was reasonably priced at 20 euros. The service was also excellent. The breakfast was as you can expect in a 4 star hotel and maybe even a bit better. They kept the items replenished all the time and the dining room was always kept spotlessly clean and overall in perfect condition. You seldom see that level of attention to detail. If we ever return to Le Havre we will almost certainly stay there again. "
