".......clean, modern, spartan, mid-sized hotel with just enough in-room amenities......well located between Old Montreal and downtown shopping district.....nearby Complexe Desjardins has something like 100 indoor market style dining choices under one roof......parking sells out quickly and could be challenging for larger vehicles (true for most Montreal hotels).....good value...."

"My room was large, bright and comfortable. Daily housekeeping was very good, especially during the week.Great location. Access to transit excellent, also easy to walk to all of downtown. Some construction going on inside so sometimes noisy in main areas. I would have liked to be able to get a light breakfast of coffee and toast rather than only have option of $20++ for a buffet. My biggest concern was lack of warmth in the reception staff. I was there for two weeks and the only time staff spoke to me or even acknowledged me with a smile was when I approached the desk. Staff didn't acknowledge me or other guests either when we/they passed in the hall or when I sat in the lobby to knit each day. Eye contact and smiles would have gone a long way to personalise my stay. "

"Not sure why there are such amazing reviews at this hotel. Our room was extremely dusty, particularly behind the beds. House Keeping never came automatically, even with the sign on the door saying "yes please clean my room". We had to arrived back from a day out (every day we were there), to an unkempt room. I had to notify the front desk every day that our room needed to be cleaned. All in all, this hotel did not meet my expectations in any capacity."

"This is the best hotel in Montreal. Easy check in process, front desk staff are amazing, parking is easy, food is delicious (breakfast buffet), and balconies are handy. Really enjoy having a kitchenette everytime as well. Will always visit when in Montreal. Close to everything as well."
