"We had 6 adults and two kids under 10. This house is incredibly beautiful and has so many things to do inside and outside, everyone was entertained. The beach is about 5-10min walk with low boat traffic. Which made it perfect to lounge in the water with little ones. There is a path straight down to the water but it has a couple of steep areas that kids will need help with. We couldn't get enough of the deck, fireplace and sunsets. There are some great boutiques for shopping in Ogallala about 20min away, The Tin Cactus and Makenzi's were my favorite. The Driftwood restaurant is great for food as well as The Cove for live music on the weekend. Perfect house for a family vacation. "

"My husband and I rented the VRBO for a family trip. We had such a great time. The home was perfect for our family of 9 and our boxers. There was plenty of room comfortably. We went to the lake only 16 minutes away. The host Katie was fantastic keeping in touch and making sure we were doing good! I would highly recommend staying in this adorable lake house. We will be back again! Thanks Katie!"
