「Our check-in was 3 pm and we were unable to check in until 5 pm. Exterior of property had weeds in landscape beds, broken concrete curbing and the handrail was broken. Inside the property; the sofa had broken springs and sagged making it very uncomfortable. The back deck needs pressure washing and you look at an old block building covered in poison oak and the sliding glass door will not lock, you must place a PVC pipe in the door track. The dishwasher is broken and filled with food residue...

「There is a lower parking lot and they take you up in a kawasaki mule. My wife's RAV4 AWD would have had trouble with that road. Hosts are johnny on the spot and the cabin was seclusion heaven. Just the right mix of outback charm but with all the modern amenities. I will be making this an annual stop for sure.」

「Stayed with family of 6. Nice place, very clean. Was able to park in garage which was nice. Only downside was that internet didn't work (some network/password miscommunication) and property manager didn't reply with new login info till after we'd left the following day. That was hard with teenagers, but otherwise, good stay. 」

「John is an incredible host and we would stay with him again anytime! We had an unforeseen issue arise shortly before our stay and John responded to us immediately. He went above and beyond and out of his way to make additional accommodations and worked with us to make sure we were taken care of. Can’t say enough good things about John and his place. 「Property was exactly what we were looking for- a separate bedroom and living area. My husband is usually up before me on vacations so it's important he has some place to hang out without waking me! Bed was VERY comfortable! Best sleep I've had on a vacation. Kitchen was adequately supplied. Nice full size fridge/freezer. Bath towels were a little on the small side. Could use an additional shelf in bathroom for makeup (I don't travel light!). TV was an issue- it's Roku so we couldn't get any...
