「We wanted a relaxing getaway for a long weekend and that's exactly what we got. The house is located right on the river and we spent our mornings and evenings on the deck enjoying the view. It is within an hour to New River Gorge National Park and several state parks. There is plenty of space to explore near the house with the Elk River Trail right across the road. The house is clean and well-equipped and the owners are very communicative. We would definitely stay here again if we are going to...

If you've never visited before, I recommend arriving before they close. if you can't arrive before 5pm, I recommend you confirm exact directions to where you are staying. The directions given are to the general property and the property is really big. So unless you know exactly where you are going, you will get lost. Don't be like me and make certain you know exactly where on the property you will be staying. It is worth it. 」
