「I primarily chose the hotel for its location near the Grace Bible Church where I was participating in a conference. The grounds and room were clean and well-maintained. Good 24-hour security. There are steps as the property is on a hill. Not many guests, but breakfast was always on time and I could go to the dining room as needed. Convenient, clean and secure.」

「Apart from it been a good hotel what stood out for me was the friendliest and welcoming staff from the management to the cleaners they were absolutely brilliant, Jacinta,Hilda,Mekane,Christine,Rose, Yvonne and Alphonse the security guy all amazing,thank you all I'll will miss your warm friendship, the Mavvel is a excellent hotel be it for business or a tourist like me i really do highly recommend a stay here, oh and great breakfast, restaurant and bar and hope to visit again when in Embu, thanks...

「This was such a wonderful and relaxing property! The house was great, and the staff available were extremely helpful. They provided everything we could need, and even went out of their way to provide a bonfire for our family one night! We will definitely try to come back to this amazing getaway!」
