"I would like to begin by acknowledging the exceptional hospitality provided by the resort staff. Throughout my stay, employees were consistently polite, professional, and accommodating. Unfortunately, several issues significantly impacted what was intended to be a relaxing vacation.
First, I specifically booked a swim-out suite with a Jacuzzi tub due to chronic pain that I manage with hydrotherapy. After fully unpacking and settling into the room, I discovered that the Jacuzzi jets were not functioning. Although an alternative room was offered, relocating would have required packing and unpacking all of my belongings again, which would have exacerbated my pain and was not a practical solution.
Second, my room (3107) did not meet expected cleanliness standards. I noticed what appeared to be food splatter stains on the walls and curtains later on the first evening of my stay.
Third, I was awakened one night by loud knocking at my door from security and police personnel requesting entry into my room. Earlier that evening, I had taken medication and fallen asleep due to severe pain. My boyfriend had accidentally locked himself out and sought assistance from the front desk after unsuccessfully trying to wake me. While the security staff were polite and professional, the situation was extremely distressing.
