「We were there for a week. Beds were comfy. Pool was where we spent most of our time. The other reviews I read before going had a point about those stairs. They were a worry. We used the front door and walked across the lawn instead of risking it. Overall we loved our stay!!」

「Great and relaxing place to stay. Neighborhood was nice and quiet. My family was so happy to have a nice, large space to gather together during a time of grieving (visiting for a funeral from out of state). 」

「We loved the style of the place. It was very well renovated and designed. Everything in the place matched the asthetic. They maintained the old characteristics of the home while making it stylish and updated as well. Interesting older neighborhood. Very clean. Very simple check in and check out. Great place!」

「We were transporting a dog to a training facility and this house was perfect. The fenced backyard was secure and made exercising the dog easy. The house was exactly as described and we enjoyed our stay. We would recommend Woody’s Pizza and Norma’s Diner for places to eat. 」

「The studio apartment was decorated well. Fun colors, comfortable bed, arm chairs instead of a couch. Toiletries are provided and a fridge and microwave. The Host sent regular messages leading up to our stay to keep us well informed about what to expect. That being said, it is a loft apartment with angled ceilings. There is no closet and nowhere to hang clothing. There is also no iron or ironing board. The bathroom is set into the slanted ceiling, so if you are over 6ft tall you have to hunch...

「My only hesitation in leaving such a glowing review is the fear it won’t be available the next time I’m in Fort Scott! This place is absolutely amazing. The host was fantastic, everything was spotless and the location couldn’t be better. I’ll definitely be staying here again ... fingers crossed it’s available! Five stars all the way!」

「What a lovely stay! Everyone has their own space. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed. Even had a stocked BBQ we used for our last night. Upstairs family room had videos and games to play and served as a huge gathering space. Host was amazing and answered every question I had within minutes. Very safe neighborhood within walking distance of stores. We came from California and thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and time to meet our Joplin Missouri family. This home has an interesting...
