「The hotel staff and food served were excellent, however, the hotel is situated on a steep hill, not great for people with back issues. The hotel is outdated, the sofa in the room was very uncomfortable and the TV was a small 18 inches and we couldn’t get it to change to the English language! The hotel is not near the Old Town but at least a 40min drive away! We had to hire a car which was great to get around in. I booked this as Expedia had this as a 4 star but it is more a 3 star! 「The property is a bit far from any restaurants, markets or shops, and the beach is down the hill; there are no sidewalks. You have to park your car at the bottom and walk up a medium sized hill, plus two more sets of stairs. I would not recommend it for anyone with mobility issues. The host doesn't always respond to messages in a timely manner. It was nice to have access to laundry facilities.」

「We have stayed in gretocel lux me in crete twice and we booked this based on what we had experienced in crete and this was not the greatest experience. Our room was not what you see in the pictures we were a million miles away from the childrens pool, we asked to change rooms as it wasnt based on what they had advertised for a family apartment with balcony.
