「On the positive side, the bed was comfortable, it was quiet, and the property was well maintained—mostly. On the “needs improvement” side, the hot tub was broken and when we asked a housekeeper about it, she responded “long time”. The breakfast was nicely complete but needs to be replenished in a more timely manner and the tables need to be cleaned more often.」

「Rooms need a good cleaning. Walls need a coat of paint and hardware needs to be fixed. Our bathrooms electrical plugs did not work so therefore no blow dryer. The rugs are so dirty that your socks are black from walking on them. The doors safety latch was broken off. This motel is in bad need of a good cleaning and updating.」

「We reserved an Executive room through expedia and paid for that, but we were checked in to a small basic room. We were told it was expedias fault. AC makes a big loude noise , so was disturbing sleeping, a small shampoo tube, but was half empty, carpet felt sticky and dirty.」

「Our stay at this property was like staying with family. The owners are very friendly and they made sure we didn't want for anything. The property was newly rehabbed, the beds were comfortable and the property was clean.」

「We chose this place as a last minute one night stay. That being the case it was OK. It had almost equal points on the OK and Good side. On the good side, our room looked to be recently renovated. The paint, fixtures, bed, etc all seemed to have been done recently. There were however a few things that were missing, There was an ironing board but no iron, no hair dryer though it was mentioned as an amenity, and a light bulb was missing from the vanity light fixture. After the events we went to all day it was nice to come back and relax on the comfortable couch watching tv and then go to bed. This VRBO is newly built and really clean and quiet and you can have your morning coffee out on the deck with a view of the Mississippi. I was concerned that the neighborood on the dock might be a whoop-it-up loud all-night-long kind of party crowd (and I am VERY boring), but everyone was going-out-of-their way charming and kind.
