"Please be careful with the place! Im giving 1 star for everything. We booked it a day before, came to the place, and it turned out there was no electricity in all place and there was a big malfunction not possible to be repaired this day so we were refused to stay. These things happen so I was ok with it and we went to another place and I’ve got the message from the Gweta lodge that they will ask Expedia to refund us as it was obviously their fault. "Bereits an der Hauptstraße B300 gibt es eine Beschilderung zur Lodge. Die ca. 70 km lange Anfahrt erfolgt über eine Sandpiste, die nur mit einem Allradfahrzeug zu bewältigen ist. Die Begrüßung war sehr persönlich und das Personal sehr freundlich und bemüht. Die angebotenen Aktivitäten wurden sehr individuell durchgeführt. Die Ausstattung des Luxuszeltes war hervorragend. Alles super sauber. Das Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr gut. Alle Getränke auch tagsüber waren inklusiv."

"Fantastic lodge in cool leafy surrounds....clean, comfortable, spacious, quiet and fully equipped. The included breakfast was superb! We really enjoyed chatting with the hostess and learning about living in the area.....strong recommendation! "

"Rooms clean and comfortable. A little attention to detail,by the management will make the good. Management forgot to send food from Gabs so staff had nothing to srve in restaurant. Staff need to be empowered to sort out basics like this. You will note by now, that staff try but failure lies at the owners door. Swimming is dry as water gets pumped for miles to the area. Make pool smaller and it might be feasible to fill. The overall place needs maintenance and care as its a bit run down. "

"Wir hatten zwei Nächte gebucht und sind nach einer Nacht abgereist. Warmes Wasser nur abends, da Solar. Kein Restaurant anders als in der Beschreibung. Man muss alles selbst mitbringen. Eine lieblose Anlage. Nie wieder!"

"We stayed in the Camps side of the lodge. We were the only guest staying at the camp site section of the lodge.The shower was the best thing in the family room as it had hot water. On the negative side, we found lots of spiders in the room and as it was the rainy season, there were lots of mosquitoes too. No bed nets in the room meant that we were exposed to mosquito bites, which made sleeping uncomfortable. "
