「Beautiful clean home with comfortable furnishings and great views. Enjoyed coffee on the deck every morning watching the lake come to life. Darren was easy to contact and provided quick response to any questions. Darren also recommended a boat rental company which dropped off the boat to the house and picked it up at the end of the day. Nice benefit, especially when it’s your first time visiting the area.」

「Everything about Randy’s VRBO was great. This was our families 3rd stay at one of Randy’s houses. First, time at this one. Everything was clean, and kitchen supplied with all the necessities. Randy was easy to contact. Every room in the house has a beautiful lake view. The upper deck was partially covered. So even on the rainy days, we could still sit on the deck and grill out. We will definitely be planning to come back and stay at Randy’s VRBO at the lake a 4th time. 」

「Beautiful home right on the lake with a covered dock. Great views of the lake throughout the property with decks on all three levels. Fishing was better off the dock than any place we found on the lake. Easy access to nearby boat ramp at Red Oak Resort was only 5 minutes away. Five bedrooms and five bathrooms was perfect for the five of us fishing buddies. Use of the garage was a plus. Easy check-in and check-out. Randy was a good host and communicated well with us.Would definitely stay there...

「We had peaceful getaway at the Hix Lake and Cabin. The cabin was clean and comfortable with a well-equipped, generously stocked kitchen. Its location on the private lake is serene with no other houses in sight.The real show-stopper was the outdoor areas. We enjoyed morning coffee on the wrap around porch looking out at the lake and listening to the birdsong. The hot tub was a relaxing way to unwind. Fishing at the private lake was a lot of fun.
