Our stay at the hotel was amazing. The area is definitely still recovering from post-Covid tourist decline, and it being the shoulder season for Northern Hemisphere tourists, we had the place almost to ourselves. Our host Christian was super friendly and helpful. He found our debit card we left behind, and helped arrange it to get returned. And he is an amazing artist on the side! What an incredible find in Madagascar. While the property is older, it has the most incredible setting. Booking a superior room is absolutely worth it for the mountain-front views and electricity at all hours. The room itself is massive - the photos online do not do it justice. The bed has a clever mosquito net surrounding the whole "bed room" so you can still move within the net and use the nightstands. The room also has A/C which was fantastic.
