「To begin with, the write up for this rental property was advertised as a Charming 3-bedroom house. The 3 bedroom was correct, but it was far from charming. There was a lot of deferred maintenance on the property, from cracked broken floor tiles in the bathroom, which one could cut their bare feet on, the floor boards in the dining area that were loose and lifting up, a back storm door that was broken and would not close properly to the walls that were in need of a fresh coat of paint. 「The unit was fine for a place to stay. The property manager is slow with check-in instructions and we never received any check out instructions. The manger is absolutely unavailable after normal business hours for any issues that come up, as we found out. The house had been updated recently but the workmanship was of mixed quality. The new flooring was laid over an obviously rotted subfloor juding by how springy the floor was when walking on it.」

「Once again a fabulous stay in Houma. This location is quite and quaint. Neighbors walking are very friendly. Backyard is a beautiful park. My niece ( she's in her forties)got to fly a kite, we saw a group of young children learning some fundamentals of flag football. Walkers, rollerblades and joggers. The location is ideally located to restaurants, groceries stores (shout out to Cannattas) and seafood vendors. Definitely a return location for us 」
