Renovated Studio condo with partial view of beach dunes-Beach Service included

MUST BE 25 to rent. Sandpiper Cove requires you be 25 or older. The guards do check ID and will turn anyone under 25 away. You will not be refunded for underage bookings.

One of the most desirable locations in Sandpiper Cove with 1100 feet of private white sandy beach and only a 2-3 minute walk across the street. Free wireless internet, flat-screen TV, queen bed, and a pull-out couch. The curtains and blinds are blackout which means you are guaranteed a good nights rest. While the unit does not have laundry in the room, there is one located close to the pool right outside the front door. To wash and dry it costs $6 and only accepts quarters. BEACH SERVICE: 2 chairs and 1 umbrella March 1- October 31 is included with this rental, a $45 savings a day!

A complete remodel of the unit was done in February 2024. A new kitchen with quartz countertops, soft close cabinets, and all-new black stainless steel appliances. In the bathroom, we got rid of the bathtub and added a tiled shower and the same soft close cabinets. A shower glass door has been added.

Sandpiper Cove Resort consists of 43 acres that include 5 pools 2 of which are heated during winter months (1 is located a few steps away from the unit), 3 hot tubs, a free nine-hole chip and putt golf course, and 6 tennis courts. The resort also includes Louisiana Lagniappe a four-star restaurant http://www.thelouisianalagniappe.com/ , and Sandflea https://www.sandfleadestin.com/ a seasonal (march-october) snack bar conveniently located near the beach. Beautiful beach

Had a great time here, loved the beautiful beach! Chair and umbrella rental included was a great bonus. Kids enjoyed the outdoor pools as well. Definitely will return in the future!

Convenient Clean and Comfortable

We are in our 70s, so the convenience and comfort of this perfect studio was exactly what we needed. The chairs and umbrellas all ready on the gorgeous beach were a blessing. The bed is fabulous. The bathroom is super nice!

Daughter mother trip

Anniversary Weekend

It was beautiful. Checking in was really easy through security and the condo was amazing. We loved the tile work in the bathroom. So much that we got some great ideas to do to our own personal bathroom at home. Walking to the beach was simple and easy! Will definitely book this condo again on any get aways that my wife and I have in the future.

Just right

We checked in easily, the host was very responsive if we had any questions. This condo was quaint and just right for the two of us. I would recommend bringing your own pickle ball or tennis things since the rental office only rents out equipment until 3:00. The heated pool was a nice touch since some of our days were windy and not great beach days. Everyone, employees and other guests were very nice.

Perfect place

This was a perfectly located condo. It was just the right size for my mother and I to get away for a couple days. It’s a short walk across the street to the beach and having included chairs and an umbrella set up at the beach was a huge perk. You are on the street side, so you can hear traffic but they provided a fan that made the perfect white noise at night to drown it out. It did not bother us at all. Communication with the host was quick and easy. I would easily stay here year after year!

Wonderfully cozy!

We LOVED being right across the street from the beach, and especially the complimentary beach chairs and umbrella! The renovations look even better in real life than they do in photos and the place was super clean. We enjoyed playing pickleball and would have swam in one of the pools if we were there longer. The location was right in the middle of everything which was amazing, but also had a sewer smell outside that was unpleasant. That didn’t deter me from having coffee on the porch every morning though! We found the blender on top of the fridge too late, or we probably would have had smoothies every day! A few additions we thought of during our stay were a full-length mirror and a quieter ceiling fan. 10/10 would recommend! Will probably be back!

Nice Trip to Destin

The property is as pictured with a great bathroom renovation. This unit was right across from the pool and across the sreet from the beach. The unit is very well equipped with supplies as well. The private beach access includes two chairs and an umbrella. Not sure what happens if you need more. There aren't any beach supplies in the unit so you will need to bring your own. The outdoor deck faces the street and we could only see the dunes (not a water view) However, it was really comfortable and convenient. We only wish the check in process would have gone a little smoother as there was an issue with the key code but the owners were very responsive.

Perfect and Affordable

We really enjoyed our stay and the complex. It was a cold and gloomy week, but the heated pool was a great perk! The full kitchen with brand new appliances was a great perk as well! The u it felt fresh and new as soon as we walked in. It is very much a family friendly atmosphere and lots of pets walking around to enjoy. We did not putt putt- that was $5 additional. Small price to pay, but it was a bad weather week for us. Felt central to all the fun as well! Only thing to keep in mind when booking is, if you’re sensitive to noise or have a little one who naps, the road and upstairs unit could be jarring. The fan included in the rental helped to drown out the noise though. The back patio also provided a space to people watch as well.

Great location

Overall I enjoyed my stay, but was very disappointed with the curtain situation. I chose this specific unit because it stated it had blackout curtains to allow you to sleep. Well the sliding door had blackout curtains, but the other 3 windows in the room did not. By 6:30 am the whole unit was lit up. This, paired with the road noise right outside, made it impossible for me to sleep. My friend slept on the pull out couch and said it was horrible and the bars dug into her all night because the mattress was so bad. She is 110 lbs, so if it was bad for her, I’m sure it’s bad for everyone. By day 2, she ended up putting it up and sleeping on the couch itself. Also, for the price of this unit I would expect an ice maker and not ice trays. An ice maker can be purchased for less than the cost of one night’s stay. You can purchase ice from ice machines on the property, but the closest one was out of service. That said, the unit was clean, the location was right across from the beach (having beach service is great!) and a short drive to every where else, and we had no issues with parking or accessing the unit. Pros: -Location -Beach service!! -Stocked kitchen -Access to pools/hot tubs -Parking Cons - Noise level from the road - Lack of blackout curtains - No ice maker - Pull out bed - No beach towels

This was a great trip for my wife & I and was a perfect location! Very convenient to the beach, several restaurants and local coffee (always a plus). The unit was everything we could have asked for and will definitely plan on renting again!
