Great location

The house was beautiful, but ants were everywhere when we checked in. The cleaning crew was still there at 4:30pm. After two days of traveling we just wanted to get in the house.

Beautiful comfortable house, but very poorly managed.

The house and location were great, but our stay was spoiled by poor management. We never received gate codes and had to call VRBO support just to get in. The house was clean, but there were no basic starter supplies—no soap, shower gel, dishwasher pods, or laundry detergent. We went to Whole Foods to buy our own. The icemaker didn’t work either.At checkout, we were asked to run the dishwasher, but since there was no detergent, I messaged the manager for guidance. Instead of helping, she responded sarcastically and accused me of using the supplies and not replacing them. I explained we never received any, but she insisted the kits were there and called me a liar. When I asked for proof, she said cleaning crew photos are “internal only.” Very unprofessional and rude. We loved the house but won’t be back because of how we were treated.

Very nice

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sea Salt Retreat. The location was great, the house was fabulous and the hot tub / pool were very nice. The property management company wasn't very responsive and did not fix an issue we reported while we were there. That's the only challenge we had.

Fantastic House

This location and house is perfect. The pool area and pool house are great for families. This is our second time renting this house and hopefully there will be many more. Don’t hesitate to reserve this place. Easy walk to the beach and great location.

Great for kids, tiny and big

Layout was great for staying with our little guys. Living area and kitchen had tons of natural light, a huge deck and built in baby gate to keep them with tons of space for their activities. Even with the pool I never had to worry about them venturing out unless we were ready. Rooms were spacious and clean, and kitchen was well supplied. Definitely coming back!

This house is perfect!

This house and the management company were both fantastic! I have not one negative thing to say about the property. It’s perfect for a family vacation. The pool and pool room are a great addition. Close to the beach in a gated neighborhood. Property was very clean and well stocked. It’s well worth the money. I would love to stay here again in the future.

The home was very nice and the location was great. However!!!

However, the entranceway carpet was very stained. For the price I paid for 1 week, $11,200 plus, I think they could replace every several months, if needed. When cleaning out the pool, the garbage was thrown into the yard. Biggest complaint, no working dishwasher. Notified Salt Water on Monday and never did get it fixed. There is a dishwasher in the pool house so took all the dishes from upstairs to downstairs and that one didn’t work either! So we washed dishes the whole week for 11 people. Again, for paying $11,200 plus for one week, I did expect the problem to be fixed or a refund of some kind for the inconvenience.

Amazing home!!

We stayed at this home for a girls trip and it was nothing short of perfect for us. There is not a single negative opinion I have of this home. It's in a gated community with other beautiful homes and located right across from a beach access. We walked a few times but stopped because we ran into a few snake friends on the road lol! The home is spacious...there were 7 of us and we still had plenty of room to where we felt like we weren't on top of each other. The home was very clean. (Some of the other reviews mentioned the pool house was not clean but we did not see any spiderwebs or anything that wasn't clean.) The pool was FANTASIC! It was so nice in the backyard and it was great because in the middle of our trip there was someone that even came to clean our pool but never happens! The porch area was a popular area for us in the mornings...the decor, furniture, and overall feel of the home was so warm and inviting. If you are on the fence about this home, don't be. Book it. You won't be disappointed. Thanks so much for a great stay! We will be back in 2023, 2024, and every other year after that! :)

Amazing Trip

Our family had an amazing time in Destin. The house was wonderful and it was exactly what we had hoped for. The only downside was that the pool heater stopped working after our first day. However, they did refund the money we had paid to have the pool heated. We would absolutely stay at this property again. It was easy to find and very close to the beach and other areas of Destin.

Great House!

The house was set up nice and very fun! Kitchen and TV near the pool area, quick walk to the beach, located next to Crab Trap(great restaurant! I do feel the outside/pool area could use more maintenance, and the pool heater is a charge, not free, so if you go in fall be prepared for that. Overall I would recommend this house!

Simply Amazing

This property was absolutely beautiful and the location was perfect. We were able to take a 5min walk and enjoy the beautiful beach and take 15 min drives for shopping, dinner, boat rides and grocery shopping. All the amenities were as described and everyone we encountered in the community were so warm and sweet. Will definitely stay here again.

Excellent stay!

This was an amazing property in a perfect location. All house amenities were exactly as stated and exceeded expectations. Pool and pool house were adorable and very used throughout our stay. It was a short and easy walk to the beach, which was beautiful. We had to contact management several times due to ants in the kitchen (they responded immediately and helped remedy situation) as well as pool not heating properly (responded immediately to figure out what was going on). Overall, it was a perfect place and would absolutely stay here again!!!
