First of all, this condo is in an EXCELLENT location to main attractions in Destin. It was just a short drive to many restaurants, harbor boardwalk, water park, etc. It’s a very short walk down to the beach. The view from the balcony and bedroom window is beautiful. It was quiet and mostly clean. Check in/ check out was a breeze. It’s family friendly. The beach bar is nice and they even serve breakfast. I do want to be honest and say the floor was dirty when we checked in. Our socks were black just a few minutes after check in. That wouldn’t stop us from staying there again, though, as it’s easily remedied. The biggest issue was the sliding door to the balcony. If you don’t have upper body strength, I’m not sure you could get it open. Many times I had to ask my spouse to open it. Other than those two things, this stay was wonderful and I would definitely stay there again. I can’t recommend it enough. We had a lovely stay.

Great location

I stayed in a beachfront condo, and the view was terrific. Rick's Sand Trap had excellent food and drinks, just steps away. Louisiana Langipipe also had excellent food, but more expensive. I had no car and spent the week completely at the property, eating at these two restaurants on site. Condo was comfortable and clean. I would stay here again.

This was the best stay that I have had In Destin. The property had an amazing view of the beach. There were upgrades to kitchen and living room. Nice clean condo. Very quiet. Can’t wait to go back

Unit needs updating

SPC is a great property, but unit 2134 badly needs updating. Walls, counters, curtains, rugs and furniture are shabby. Every item is the cheapest on the market.

Do not stay here

This rental is not what it says, you could be alot closer to beach, you are 3 stories up, 2 paths to the beach. The condo is old and small, we had to wait in line at gate, go to office wait inline again, go across street to condo. The office gave us wrong door code, called and got new door code. Wrong internet, called told us to reset, on modem is correct id and password. When we opened blinds,they fell, they were held by rubberbands, screen laying on deck, called and they said work order would be put in, no one came, we stayed 5 days 4 nights. The condo is very small, furniture old and uncomfortable, dishwasher not attached to cabinet,comes out when you use it, no papertowels, 1 trashbag, garbage disposal doesn't work, fridge doesnt cool well or make ice fast, it is old. Bathroom sink and tub drain slow, toliet low to floor, drywall gap around ceiling, black around tub from no caulk, paint chipped off all over condo. Sliding door will not open, other door hard to open. Plugs in bedroom and vanity do not work. The beach view from deck is pretty, but when you go to beach, the guy sets up chairs and umbrellas everywhere and if you don't pay 41.00 you have no place to sit, it's a scam. Not worth the money.

Condo needs a lot of maintenance work done.

I was really disappointed with the up keep if the conbo. No washer and dryer we could not open one of the sliding doors the other one the screen kept coming off the track. Electrical socket did not work in bed room next to bed. Lamps missing light bulbs. The place really has potential but need a whole like of TLC. GREAT location just need work. Thanks

Right on the beach! Could use a few improvements but overall great stay!!

The condo was NOT lying when they said "right on the beach". This was a great feature. The patio furniture could use updates (maybe high-top so you can actually see over railings). A/C worked AMAZINGLY!! absolutely no complaints there!! In my personal opinion the bedroom could have used some black out curtains and a heavier comforter. Blanket was thin and so were the curtains but some people like this... just a suggestion. Overall it was a nice property, a little older but it did its job, we had fun, desk staff was very nice. No major complaints. I would stay here again!

Location location location

Checkin was fast & easy. The property was exactly as described. A third floor condo facing the ocean with an amazing view. The property was a bit dated as described by other reviewer‘s. Overall the property was cleanly but there was a few things that could’ve been better such as the toilet was really small. At the end of the day it’s the location of the property. You’re really close to the water taxi that will take you over to all the harbor restaurants. And you’re steps away from enjoying the beach. The only thing I didn’t understand is the outdoor water shower/faucets to wash off the sand before going up to your condo was over sand so there was no way they could be used unless u bring your own hose. Because of being short staffed there was no linen exchange so plan accordingly (hopefully that will change soon). Bring your own beach towels. Enjoy the view!!!

Was VERY outdated

I did not like this property even though it was right on the beach. It was very outdated. Toilet was so small it was like a child’s toilet outlets on the makeup mirror did not work the mattress needs replacing bc when you turn over you roll to the middle the carpet needs updating or removed. I won’t be back

We had a lovely time. There was a dead animal smell in the bedroom the first day but they gave us Odorban and it totally dissipated. No issues the rest of the stay.

Sandpiper Cove

Check in process was easy. The office staff was very friendly and helpful. Property had a beautiful view but could have been a little cleaner and needs updating. Didn’t like having to take my dirty linens across the street to exchange them for clean ones. The resort itself was very nice and well maintained, just thought our unit was a little disappointing except for the view.
