Excellent Location

Walked to the beach everyday without having to cross the street. All amenities were covered by Sandpiper Cove and we had great service every time. It felt like we were staying at a resort with the convenience of having our kitchen to save on meals. Had a great time!

Winter break

Condo had nice view of ocean. Kitchen was adequately furnished. Enjoyed our stay. Bed was comfortable . Condo was on the second floor and has no elevator, so be prepared for 3 flights of stairs which is kind of dark at night if the porch light isn’t on at the lower condo. Only had one problem, and that was a sliding glass door handle that had a screw break. I reported problem and it was repaired in an hour. Would return for another vacation.

Very disappointing birthday weekend! Don’t believe the positive reviews

We left a day early, would have been two days but that’s too much $$ to throw away. First of all the listing doesn’t specify you have to walk up 3 flights of stairs! This would have made a huge difference in my decision to choose this unit. The pictures make this place look bigger than it really is. The stove is blinking like it’s shorting out; takes forever to heat up and very confusing to work. The freezer only made about 3 pieces of ice and the inside shelf filled up with water and froze up. No bathroom towels provided as advertised; thank god I brought beach towels or I would have had to dry off with paper towels! You can definitely tell that the interior “renovation” basically covered up the crap hole it was; very shotty work, must have been in a hurry to finish. The bed was the hardest thing I’ve ever slept on; we went and bought an air mattress because the bed was so uncomfortable and the closet - well it was creepy! We never could get the Cox service to work in the living room; had to watch crappy Roku tv. 3 - 4 different remotes and no instructions on what to turn on first, etc. The seat cushions on the table stools weren’t even attached to the base. The living room furniture felt like ita came from goodwill - no cushion at all. The outside deck railing looks and feels like it’s going to collapse. The pictures showed a nice bar across the deck- nope; just a lose railing. Very disappointing Birthday weekend; very unfortunate!

Disappointed

The condo was clean however, the mattress was so hard we left 2 days early. I couldn’t suffer one more night. I woke up every morning barely able to get out of bed. Had to take long hot showers to loosen my back. Did have ocean view but the dunes blocked the beach view. Condo is on the second floor so be prepared to carry everything up 2 flights of steps. Also, Wi-Fi worked when we first arrived but lost connection and we could not reconnect devices. Not a happy birthday 😢

R&R get away!

The condo was awesome! It was a little warm in there, but overall it was good. The bed is low to the ground and a little hard. 😂 If you like that then we recommend this condo.

Beautiful view!

Great location! Furnishings were rated a 2 on a scale of 5. Lock was missing on sliding glass door. The floor was not clean. Only had 2 wine glasses - 1 was plastic and 1 was glass. Room price was fine, but add-on fees and taxes was not a good bargain.

Misleading Property Description

Disappointed to say the least! When searching for a home we were very impressed with the rental listing and picture. Upon arrival and checking-in we found a completely different experience. Our property and surrounding buildings were completely under roof repair and reconstruction. There was construction debris everywhere including roofing nails that we upright on the connecting beach property. Early morning noise that lasted well into the evening. We also experienced a problem with the water tank that could not dispense hot water to shower in.

The rental unit was very cozy. The view from the balcony was awesome.

I really liked the location of the property. There was a lot of places to walk to. The only minor criticism that we had was the coffee pot was a little tricky. I would recommend in getting a new one. Besides that everything else was awesome and definitely plan on coming back again:-)

Great view and so nice having the beach chairs and umbrella included with the unit.

The condo was nice with a great view. It is mis stated that we were there the 5th thru the 11th- we only rented thru the 10th. .

If your not planning on using all the extra amenities save your money!

My fiance and I decided on staying an extra 4 night after our week stay in fort walton. Upon check in you go to the front office to get your door code and gate codes. The front office people were very friendly and willing to help with anything you may need. However the door code was very hard to remember. I've had places use part of my phone number or address to make life easier. Once we entered this condo it was cute and cozy nice ocean view from living area and bed room. We thought the bedroom walked out to the balcony because we seen 2 sliding doors in the photo but it still had a huge window in the bedroom with a view. The housekeeping could have done a little better on the floors our feet were so dirty from walking on the floors. The bathroom and the other areas were clean. Kitchen was fully stocked. One of the 2 glass sliding doors did not work the door handle was laying on the ground. The comforter is actually a white down comforter which I liked better then the one in the photos. The upkeep of the property wasnt very good. It looked like the nails that held the banister to the building were pulling away from the wall. Lots of work needed on the outside of the property. We did see some balconys being replaced but the place does need a full overhaul. All in all the unit is perfect for a couple or a small family of 3 or 2 small children. Would we stay here again no, did we enjoy our stay yes!

Nice and Dirty

They property was just the right size and had a wonderful location and view. However it was dirty. Nothing had been cleaned. The surfaces were all dirty, the shower was very dirty. I was so disappointed about how it was not cleaned at all!

Great Place

We stayed in May 2021. It was a great unit with an even better view. The unit was decorated nicely and was up to date. Looking forward to staying in this unit again.

This property was listed properly and exactly what i expected. Bed was comfortable. Easy to check in. Easy to check out. Very clean. Easy access to the beach. Gated parking lot. Quiet and peaceful. Close to many great things to do in Destin.

Nice, clean condo with a great view. Biggest complaint, bedroom is super hot. To cool it down to a comfortable temperature, the living room would be freezing cold. Could use a couple more kitchen tools such as a spatula..turning eggs with a spoon proved to be challenging. Overall, a great place.

Won’t stay again

Not what I expected. Air conditioner never cooled the bedroom and it was only one bedroom and it was loud. Kids froze in the living room because we were trying to cool the bedroom. Had to go across the street for the pool and to exchange towels and get toilet paper. We will not stay again. Spoke with customer service and they did nothing to try and make me happy.
