"Overall the stay was pretty good. We were visiting the area for a family reunion, and my family is huge and loud, so it was really nice to have a quiet spot to come home to. I loved the quiet, the house was very quaint and cute, nearest neighbors were close enough to see but too far to hear. Plenty of space for us to stretch out. "Arrived later in the evening her directions were perfect. She left the lights on knowing we would be in at dark. The house is beautiful and cozy. Setting outside watching the sunset over Pilot Mountain was so serene. Couldnt ask for a better view or host to communicate with !! Highly recommend !!! "

"This home was perfect for us and extended family. With 4 bedrooms, we all had our own space. Jennifer was always quick to reply, easy to talk with, and very accommodating. The dock and water gear were perfect with a private cove to swim in. It felt like we had the whole lake to ourself. I would definitely stay again!"

"The property is set a ways back from a quiet country road and has everything you need for a great stay. It was clean and well equipped. Bed was super comfy. Owner was in touch throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again."

Nice getaway

"It was very nice. Bed was comfy. Close to local attractions and wineries. Back porch was nice and relaxing. No complaints except it was obvious the place hadn’t been stayed in recently as there were a few dead flies around the toilet and cob webs on decks that had been there awhile as they were big. Mine is all in the little details. That is a minor complaint. It’s a nice little getaway. "

"Great couple try stay with all the amenities you can ask for within a short drive. Laurels place is fantastic for a small family along with their dog pals. Great sunrises in June over Cooks Wall and plenty of space to enjoy and adventure. Short drives to Hanging Rock and Pilot Mtn make this stay even better for nature loves to explore. 15/30 minute drives to all the best hikes you can ask for in the area. "

Good country retreat

"Overall the stay was pretty good. We were visiting the area for a family reunion, and my family is huge and loud, so it was really nice to have a quiet spot to come home to. I loved the quiet, the house was very quaint and cute, nearest neighbors were close enough to see but too far to hear. Plenty of space for us to stretch out. Hubby loved sitting on the patio watching the wildlife and fireflies, me not so much, lol. That was the only negative for me; the bugs...it was manageable, but if youre considering this property, just know it is RURAL, and after dark, the bugs come out.The property is older, so a little quirky, plug wise, but it has wifi with a great signal, and the ac units kept the place nice and cool.The host was very sweet and accommodating!"

Perfect Weekend Getaway

"Our family needed a space to relax and spend time together before our kids went to camp for summer. This property was perfect location with the view, easy access to grocery store, and all the outdoor activities the area has to offer. The host has thought of everything! There were blankets, outlets, and lots of comforts of home. We really appreciated the view the most. We sat outside the first night and watched the sunset together. Highly recommend this property. Thank you for helping make our summer better! "

"Everything about our stay was fantastic. The property was super clean (most important to me when renting!) We enjoyed the view, roasting marshmallows & playing Yardzee. We also took in some hiking and spent one afternoon swimming at the lake. What a perfect pit stop for my family on our way to the beach. "
