I really enjoyed this hotel. It is simple and the staff very friendly. It is situated in one of the most sensory stimulating part of town but we felt quite safe here. The balcony and roof top gives you a good view of the chaos below. I would recommend this if you are looking for a simple and reasonably quiet place in the centre of the chaos of chandni Chowk.

The hotel itself is nice the rooms are clean and spacious. The food is very good and quick room service. The staff is helpful and courteous. The neighborhood in Chandi Chowk is a bit discomforting. While it's very close to Red Fort and Jama Masjid the hotel itself is hidden in an alley inaccessible to transportation and honestly not safe for families. As a solo male backpacker it was ideal and budget friendly.

Baño sin papel confort , televisión mala , el primer día sin agua caliente , dormí en un tercer piso y arriba golpearon piso movieron muebles hasta las 2 de la mañana y luego a las 7.30 siguieron no logré descansar , el desayuno mucho que desear el huevo era un asco , el termo del agua caliente sin tapa , pésima experiencia

Overpriced unclean hotel

Appalling hotel. I understand it was a decent place at one point but it's now extremely unclean with very poor service. Have to ask several times to get the room cleaned, and when it is it's hardly cleaned - just bed remade and the bathroom barely cleaned. The bathrooms are wet rooms, which are fine if cleaned, but these bathrooms are dirty. There is one very pissed-off boy who never sleeps and does all security and cleaning etc alone. He spends about two minutes cleaning the room, that's if he ever gets round to it. Not entirely his fault, the hotel should have more staff. You have to insist on every little thing several times, you can't assume that towels will be changed or bins emptied etc. Also the hotel has no duvets. Very stingy on all things, from pillows to loo roll. You basically have to beg for loo roll before every time you go to the toilet. You have to call to have the hot water turned on, takes half an hour to heat the water, and then when you turn the hot water tap on you have to fill 3 buckets with cold water before any hot water arrives. so something as simple as taking a shower takes planning and patience. All this would be fine if it was cheap but it's £35 a night; I stayed in Aiwan-e-Shahi for half that, with friendly staff, regular room cleaning, clean bathrooms, running hot water, a great restaurant with a great view and a better location in the same area. (btw this hotel has turned its dining room into a store room)

狭くて暗い路地裏を入って行くので勇気がいります。部屋には小さな窓しかありませんが程良い広さなので気になりません。ただエアコンとファンの音がちょっと気になりました。

周辺環境はよくないが、観光には便利。

世界遺産レッド・フォートまで徒歩５分と近いが、オールドデリーの雑踏の中に立地しているので、周辺の環境はよくない。部屋・設備とも古いが、機能的に問題はない。朝食は、トースト、ジュース、カフェオレ、オムレツ、バナナ付きで十分満足。

スタッフの対応は良い

英語を話せるスタッフがおり、ホテルまで迷った時も親切に電話で誘導してくださいました。また、ルームサービスが24時間なので、早朝に出かける時も朝食を準備していただいてとても助かりました。ただ立地がモスクの近くで、いい場所とは言えません。

親切な対応

初日に宿泊しました。空港まで迎えに来てもらいましたが、ちゃんと時間通りに迎えにきてくれました。シャワーも温かいお湯が出て快適に過ごせました。次の日の出発時間が早く、セットに付いていた朝食の時間が合わなかったのですが、持って帰れるようにアルミに包んで部屋まで持ってきてくれとても親切な対応でした。wifiもロビーでのみでしたが、スムーズに使えました。ただ、オールドデリーに立地しているので、初日に行くには少しハードルが高かったです。治安が心配で日没後に外を出歩くことはできませんでした。

良かった

清潔で安全でよかった。 スタッフの鑑賞がなく、楽。 朝食付きプランを予約したが、自分で場所や時間を聞かないと教えてくれなかったです。 何かあるときは、旅行会社が隣接しているようです。 ホテルでは、ロビーのインタネットを無料で使わせてもらえました。 夜中の1時くらいに飛行機が着いたのですが、無料ピックアップしていただき、とても助かりました。

Dirty location、Clean　service

there is by the side of dirty trush road in old delhi,poor's area. So if you feel stress such as environment, i don't recommand. but,hotel staff is kindly and honety people. と、ひどい英語で書くのも恥ずかしいので、日本語で。。。 有名なカレー屋とか観光スポットが近い以外は、 キレイ好きの人にはなかなかキツいエリアです。 ゴミだらけの路上で立ちション、寝る人、ハエ、野良犬、野良牛、障害者の乞食など、 そこにインド らしさを求められる人なら大丈夫ですが・・・ ホテルは至極まともです。英語とネットを駆使する新世代のインド人に 何かと助けられました。ライムソーダは不味いです。 ホテル隣で共同経営している旅行会社がアグラ日帰りツアーを1人1800ルピーで 勧めてきます。面倒な電車予約、タチの悪いアグラタクシーに 無駄な時間と金を取られたので、素直に頼んどけば良かったと後悔。

空港送迎朝食付きで初日にお勧めです

インド到着が深夜便だったので、送迎付ホテルで手頃な価格だったので予約をしました。 オールドデリーに位置し、車を停めてから道幅が狭いので20メートル程歩かなくては行けないのが少々スリリングでした。（危険では無いです） 運転手さん、ホテルのフロントの対応、共に普通に良かったです。 部屋も清潔でした。 朝食はコンチネンタル、インドの中の数種類から選び、特にインド式朝食が美味しかったです。 ちなみに、シャワーはぬるい水しか出ませんでした。

夜中の到着だったので、迎えを頼みました。ちゃんと迎えに来てくれていて安心しましたが、他のグループと一緒に普通乗用車に詰め込まれたので、結果、運転手を入れ、大人5人、子供2人でぎゅうぎゅうでした。（でも、まあ問題ないです。）屋上からの眺めがすばらしい。屋上に洗濯物を干してもかまわないそうです。wifi無料で、1階でできます。空港送りのタクシーはちょっと高いです。レストランの味は良い。レモンハニーソーダがおすすめです。無料の朝食もいろんなものの中から好きなコースを選べます。

Highly recommended

The price is reasonable, the room is clean, and the services are efficient. The only thing was that there was no internet access in the room, which was supposed to be available. It may not be the most convenient location, but we would like to stay there again if we are to take the train from the Old Delhi station.

I'm solo female muslim traveller. for 3 star hotel in India, this is very good one. clean bathroom and towel, and especially clean fresh blanket is a plus for me. and they have it all. the staff are very helpful and polite. outside the hotel is a bit crowded since it is traditional market, but the hotel is quiet. to get to the hotel by taxi needs patience for the driver bcs of traffic near by markets, better with tuktuk. the food in this hotel is vegetarian and it tastes good, and they will serve you 24 hours. I stayed one night and they let me extend for half day for my night train. close to some touristic spots, jama masjid, red fort, etc are less 1 km walk from here. I could rest well here and enjoy my short stay.

My Tara Palace is as good as ever. The staff are still the best in Delhi. The food is fantastic. The location in Chandni Chowk is convenient and comfortable. It will always be my home in Delhi!

The hotel staff was great as is the room service and food options. The hotel driver Santosh is excellent and professional. DO not use the travel agency next door which is also owned by the same person. He will over charge and change booking last minute, to save himself money.

Tara Palace exceeded our expectations. The property was clean and the service was very prompt. We ordered food after we arrived late from our train journey and the food was good as well. Especially given that this is right in the middle of a gali in Chandni Chowk, this hotel was great.

EXCELENTE OPCION EN OLD DELHI

Si quieres vivir la experiencia de alojarte en OLD DELHI en un hotel decente, limpio, con buen desayuno y excelente wifi, esta es la opcion. Ten en cuenta que el hotel esta en un callejon. No entra el auto hasta alli. Yo cometi el error que llegar por el otro extremo de la calle y ahora esta en proceso de reparacion, y en india esto puede tardar muchos meses... asi que hay que caminar... nada que sea un problema mayor si llevas equipaje liviano. El hotel es excelente en servicio habitaciones y ubicacion. Llegas al RED FORT en 10 minutos caminano. spice market y mezquita igual... todo OLD DELHI al alcance de una camina.
