"There are so many positive aspects of this VRBO hideaway. The home is very comfortable with everything you need to make your stay complete, including a simple kitchen, very comfortable mattress and a large shower. It is beautifully decorated with both an overhead fan and wall-mounted air conditioning. Around the corner from the unit is an incredible view of the Del Mar estuary and a partial view of Torrey Pines beach from an elevated patio with a fire pit and comfortable seating. Lastly, the host (Adam) is easy to reach and is quick to respond to all questions. We had an awesome time there."

"Fantastic short stay at this home in Del Mar. House looked like it was recently stocked for VRBO as all the kitchen appliances were nearly new as well as the outdoor grill. Beds comfortable and the house was clean. Couldn't find any beach toys other than towels or any games so be sure to pack those. I would have left some if I had thought of it. Some road noise as this property backs up to Del Mar Heights but the home is at the end of a cul-de-sac and very private. Gorgeous views. We will be back."

"Have to say my wife and I were pretty dismayed at the selection of properties available in San Diego, then we looked just a little further afield and found this absolute gem of a property in Del Mar - just a few minutes up I-5! The studio was perfectly located in the quiet but gorgeous Del Mar, just a short walk to an incredible beach and a short drive to anything and everything going on in San Diego. We were able to explore beautiful nearby Torrey Pines State Park with the park pass the owners lent to us, and were steps away from a great New York style pizza place and local burrito/taco stand. The apartment itself was perfect and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was a nice secluded guest apartment at Carol and Paul’s beautiful home - separate from the main house and with its own entrance, it was perfectly private, but with probably the best views of the whole place! Wish we had made more use of the separate terrace! Our hosts were extremely accommodating and accessible, and met all our impromptu needs. Can’t say enough good things about our stay with Carol and Paul!"

"I selected this property specifically for its proximity to the dog beach. I was visiting family and travel with my dog so I wanted him to be able to enjoy the beach as well. The off-leash dog beach is within walking distance of the cottage. The cottage has a fully fenced back yard and a hose to rinse my dog off after the beach and a small deck for him to dry off on. The cottage was charming and comfortable. If you are noise sensitive, you can here the light rail occasionally. We had a super nice stay and would definitely consider staying again."
