正面玄関のすぐ外で、世界最高のマス釣りやハイキングコースをお楽しみください！ 敷地には、24エーカーに散在するさまざまな野生生物や野生の花だけでなく、多くの深い釣り穴がある刈られた小川の正面が含まれます。 ウェストカヌークリークがこの施設全体を流れています。 2018年、DNRはこのストリームで1,700匹以上のニジマスを飼育しました。 ストリームには、野生のブラウントラウトも含まれます。 この24エーカーの区画全体に隣接する公共の釣り施設にアクセスできます。 また、多くの枯れたニレの木がある春の時期には、この施設でキノコ狩りをすることもできます。 よく知られているSeed Savers Exchangeは、このプロパティから1マイル以上離れています。 彼らは大規模なビジターセンター、果樹園を提供し、年間を通じて複数のイベントを開催しています。

Luther Graduation

The cabin fit our needs perfectly. We got up and went for a long walk on the trails in the morning and sat outside on the covered deck and played cards in the afternoon. Plenty of room for everyone to meet up and spend quality family time together between events.

The cabin was great, perfect size for the four of us. Good distance from other trout streams and good food/drink. The cabin overall was good, clean, and comfortable! Would recommend staying there.

Excellent location for trout fishing! Communication was handled promptly.So, we new how to meal prep

Love the location and distance from town to do activities with our family. Was above and be on handle cook a meal as a family. And love that all the items with cookware was at this location. That’s a plus, with a family. The accommodations were above our expectations! Great getaway if you love nature.

Great property but needs updating

This is our second stay at this location. The property and area is wonderful. If you’re looking for a quiet spot to getaway for a few days and don’t require fancy accommodations, this is for you. However, I would love to see a few updates made to this cabin. Our backs are so sore from sleeping on the outdated mattress in the main bedroom. It’s time to think about bringing in a new one, as well as new sheets. They’re so ratty and pilled! Very scratchy on the skin. The coffee took over one hour to brew and doesn’t stay warm because the heating plate is totally roasted. Please get a new coffee maker, they’re pretty cheap. Can something be done about all the annoying gnats on the porch? Maybe have someone come out and spray the property. We could barely enjoy ourselves outside. Okay, other than that, great stay, and we’ll probably come back once the bed has been updated. We can bring our own coffee pot. ;)

Fishing trip

Absolutely wonderful. Very peaceful quiet place, close to Canoe creek for fishing. I will be back. Went with son in law and he stated he will bring his family up there. Loved the fact that it was a dark area so stars at night were amazing. Lots of wildlife to see, even got to meet neighbors dog, which we named Ralph, very well trained and friendly.

Family Getaway

The property was exactly what we were looking for---private and peaceful with plenty of indoor and outdoor space for our family of 3. The host Brendon was very responsive and provided detailed instructions for the check-in and check-out process. The cabin is fully equipped with everything you need and the carport was nice to protect our vehicle from the elements.

Great visit!

This is our third visit and we will be back. Cabin is not fancy, but has everything we needed. Spent time trout fishing and just enjoying nature. I highly suggest this cabin if you are looking for a getaway away from it all!

Great get away!

This was our second visit, but not last. This property is perfect for those wanting to be in nature. Clean, comfortable house, with plenty of wildlife to watch! Great trout streams nearby. Hosts are responsive to questions. Great place to stay!

Great get away!

We had a great time at this cabin. We walked down to the trout stream and caught a couple trout! We drove to close by streams and caught trout. Sitting on the porch was so relaxing even though it was hot during our stay, the breeze kept it comfortable. The cabin is well stocked and very comfortable. We will definitively be back.

The BEST kept secret location!

If you are looking for privacy, seclusion, and relaxation this is the place for you! We LOVE this property and hope to return for a third (and more) time. The fishing is great and right in your back yard. The property is beautiful; we saw deer every day and had some amazing bird watching with our binocs. It is only a short drive to some good restaurants and cute shops (Decorah). The house is stocked with everything you need. This is the only property we’ve ever made a point to visit for a second time, and we can’t wait to come again!

Awesome second time around

This was our second start here First one in November of 2021!!! It was awesome then and we just did 4th of July 2023 and it was just as awesome!!! Caught a bunch of trout, enjoyed the views of the property and spent time in town swimming at Trout Run Park

Adorable clear cabin

Nothing fancy about it, which is exactly what we wanted. A simple place that had running water, electricity and a bed at night. Streams that are on the property were well maintained. Lots of wildlife around. We will definitely be staying here again!

Cabin with Trout Stream

We enjoyed our stay immensely.. The inside of the house was very nice, though somewhat dated. A lot of the outside was a little bit unkept and needed some work. It is a very nice location and convenient to many local attractions. Plus fishing in the creek was pretty good.

A comfortable stay

I wanted to spend my 70th birthday pretending that we lived in a little farmhouse surrounded by trees and a trout stream, close to town, but out in the countryside, and voila! There we were! A perfect getaway for us! Cabin instructions were easy to understand, and everything we needed was there. Hope to return.

Labor Day Weekend Stay

It has a nice cabin feel and has all the necessities for cooking etc. The outdoor porch is great! The stairs up to the cabin can be a little tricky for older people and the loft stairs are a lot tricky. Nicely remodeled bathroom and back bedroom. The property outside is beautiful. We gave 4 stars on cleanliness because the outdoor grill needed a good cleaning and repairs. Keep in mind this is a cabin so it is mix and match as far as decore etc. But it is clean and will have everything you need and more for a long weekend. Great location. The owners left us a couple of local favorite beverages which was a nice touch.

Fishing weekend

We spent a beautiful spring weekend with 4 adults and 4 kids fishing and catching butterflies. the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, the beds were comfortable and everyone slept well. Words cannot describe how awesome it was to have our own access to the water for fishing. It was perfect.
