The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to Budd Lake Beach and close to the Leota Trails, which made it perfect for relaxing and exploring.The house was spotless, comfortable, and well‑equipped with everything we needed for a long weekend. All the amenities were in great condition, and it felt clear that the owners take pride in maintaining the property.Our host was welcoming, responsive, and made the entire experience easy from start to finish. "The cabin was very cozy and relaxing and the beds were comfortable. The cabin was well stocked with toilet paper and clean towels and was very clean. The hot tub and tub worked great and the fire place was stocked with plenty of wood. The sound system wasn’t working because the internet was down but we had brought our own blue tooth speaker so our stay and small family wedding turned out very lovely. We were very thankful for the hosts making their place available. The hosts were very responsive and kind. They were open to leaving their Christmas decorations up longer and even allowed us to check in early.We look forward to celebrating our anniversary in the future if the Crown Jewel is available in the future. Thank God, wow it was such a lovely visit.We were very thankful."

"Our stay at the Trails Lodge Retreat was everything we needed. The place is so unique and extremely comfortable for a group of 7. We all had a nice place to sleep wire comfortable beds and lots of room. They really thoughts of everything when it came to extra amenities and it was all well organized. We loved playing the many board games provided in front of the fire. It was the perfect little family getaway. We would recommend this place to anyone! Thank you again! "
