Amazing views!

We stayed 1 night. The hotel is situated on top of a hill overlooking the valley and mountains and surrounded by apple trees. It was very peaceful and quiet. The room was clean and has a great view. Parking is free. The breakfast was good; we just wished it included some eggs.

Aristieta is located in a beautiful, quiet, bucolic area of Kanpantxu, near Gernika. It is part of an organic farmstead operated by Alex and his wife, the hosts. Their home and farmhouse has been lovingly restored by their family and friends and is a unique property in every sense of the word. If you don't want to make your own lunch or supper you will need to dive into town as this property only serves...

Oscar speaks no English, but that was NO problem. Very accommodating and funny. We would have spent more time, but schedule did not allow. Breakfast was ready for us in the morning, and all the coffee we wanted. Old world charm, and very nice. Oscar truly was a great host.
