Rooms are a bit tired but to be expected for a property of this age. Everything you need for self catering including a very efficient washing machine and dryer. Excellent location if you have a car, and plenty of free secure parking available. Effective air conditioning. One side is across the road from a pub which has live music Friday and Saturday but it is over by 10pm. Apartments are a mix of motel and residential and was pretty peaceful overall. Great pool!

The pool is fantastic and the property is walking distance to the Mindel market and to watch the sunset on the beach . Room clean and comfortable but it can be noisy at times but that’s Darwin so I’m told . Staff lovely . I would stay here again

Alatai was ideal for us. Simple, clean, friendly helpful staff, a kitchenette for meals and the perfect location within walking distance of the CBD, Mindil market and the Botanic Gardens. Highly recommended.
