Darlington Raceway

Lot of walking from parking to track. We parked close to the "for sale" stuff and it was $20 and 2 miles to the track.

This hotel is super close! The race was good even with the rain delay!

Handicap parking not so good. First day, got cart ride to our gate, but after the race, no carts, so had to walk a long way for a handicapped person. Second day, handicap was full so had to part another long way from the track and walk both ways. We will not be going back because of this. Too hard for people who have trouble walking.

Missed race due to rain. 4 hour delay was too long being soaked . No smoking rule not enforced while huddled up under stands and in tunnel during rain delays. Not good for ASTHMA. NO SMOKING SHOULD BE NO SMOKING! Many folks were already drunk and starting to get out of control and extremely loud by 7:30 pm. DID NOT WANT TO SHARE THE ROAD WITH THEM knowing they would be drinking more.Loud speakers could not be heard. Announcements need to be SLOW and louder as we had no way of knowing plans to race or to postpone until next day. Thus, we walked a mile to get back to car in pouring rain.They should consider low cost golf cart rides for elderly.You do not have to have a physical handicap plaque..ADA..to need a ride. lots of folks were limping and struggling with bad knees and feet , 1 with cardiac condition. So many empty carts rode by us hundreds of times that we gladly would have paid a couple dollars to ride !

Attended The Bojangles 500 NASCAR race .

Well worth the money to purchase round trip tickets on the shuttle bus for the race!
