The interior was spotless, with charming decor that made the space feel cozy and welcoming. The bed was super comfy, and there were plenty of towels provided for both the hot tub and bathroom. We especially appreciated the thoughtful extras like robes and slippers, which added a luxurious touch. After long days of exploring the beauty of Cape Breton, the hotter and fire pit on the porch were the ultimate way to unwind - peaceful, relaxing, and just perfect. "It was just as we expected and what we wanted—-a quiet remote place—-with more birds than people! We were so lucky with the weather too….water out front and a lovely breeze most of the time. We brought food in and enjoyed fresh fish and relaxing times. We slept well with nearly all the windows open for the night air. The tide came in and we kayaked a little out front. Super quaint place to stay. Thank you so much Marcie for the hospitality—-including eggs and veggies! P.S. we left “Flat Butchie”, my adventurous brother who passed a few years back—-he loved Nova Scotia and would have liked that place—so he stayed in the front room"
