"This is truly a little gem! A fairly newly opened hotel, a small hotel of 5 rooms with personal charm. The staff mentioned that the plan is to complete the construction and add another 5 rooms. Located above a quiet restaurant in a very quiet area just outside Hikkaduwa, right on the beach so the waves and the beach are your table neighbors at breakfast. Clean, nice rooms and fresh bathrooms. Very affordable accommodation. We went into town to sunbathe and do a bit of cardio. With a Tuk-tuk it...

"The place is app 15 minutes drive from the fort and the area is rather rural. The hotel has no restaurant and it is quite dirty. Especially the pool. The owners are very sweet and sericeminded but dont speak English. But they help you with everything. Unfortunately you CANNOT pay by card. That meant the owner spent the mirning driving me from ATM to ATM in order to gather enough cash to pay. Ridicilous! "

"An oasis of calm in the countryside! Lovely rooms, lovely pool area & a fantastic place to watch the jungle wildlife! The manager was super helpful too. The beach is a 40 min walk away, or a short tuk tuk ride. "

"Room was excellent, food & drinks were great, staff exceptionally friendly and curteous. Hotel is a little remote, but that's the appeal - 20 min walk into the local town / beach, and 10 minute Tuktuk back up the hill. (Usually LKR 500 - £1.25 or thereabouts)"

"We enjoyed quietness of the location even though it is close to get to Hikkadua. Love to sit at the pool and seeing all the rice paddies. The owner tried very hard to make us feel comfortable and did a great job! "
