Site of Danby Wiske station, ECML 1991. View southward, towards Northallerton, York etc.: ex-NER section of the East Coast Main Line, electrified 1989. The small wayside station was closed 15/9/58. The house on the right may have been the station house.

Room basic which was fine we didn’t expect it to be amazing. Bed really comfortable. Needs a new tv and a lot of mould round the shower. Room was quite dusty in places. Breakfast was ok standard hotel buffet. Pool was lovely to unwind. Staff on reception amazing very friendly
