"The room was big and clean. The hostel is located a bit far away from the city center of Split in a hill (about 30 min walking) but is very connected using public transportation. "

"This was easity one of the worst places i have ever stayed. The shower was so disgusting that i couldnt even use it. The door handle to my room looked like it was about to fall off. The shelf in the bathroom was broken. And it was so hot. Their are no windows, just the patio door but in order to get air flow you have to leave it open. I did not feel safe having it open overnight so i had to close it and the room got very hot amd humid. I would not recommend thid place and i would not stay here...

"Fits the bill nicely if you're looking for somewhere to rest your head at night, and willing to forgo some comfort for a lower price. There is no aircon in the rooms, you can get fans from reception, but these are really only useful if you get a bottom bunk. Maintenance is also a little behind, in the rooms I stayed in, doors wouldn't close, toilets wouldn't flush etc. The staff there are very helpful and friendly, and make up for a lot. Also, be aware that there are taxes and membership fees...

"I came n the day, the housekeeper is not friendly at all and she was the only one worker there. She doesn't speak English so I waited more than 2 hours just to understand that I need to wait 2 hours more to have someone from the reception. I loose so much time. "We’ll start with the good: Comfy mattress, individual lights/power outlets and amazing location. Unfortunately, a lot to be desired. Opened in 2010, this would have been an awesome building at the time. But it feels like no one has maintained it since then. A broken escalator in the middle of the hostel has clearly been out of service for a long time. All of the storage cupboards in the room were either jammed shut or without keys. "In the Lapad neighbourhood, in a bay with many beach options very close by and a lovely promenade along the Oceanside with excellent bars and restaurants and unique spots to sunbathe. Bus system to old town is very easy to use. I would highly recommend this location. "
