The hotel was comfortable and modern, but the highlight for me was the staff. They were so incredibly helpful and proactive throughout my stay, even from the moment I landed at the airport. As someone who has not travelled to Senegal before, this was very reassuring. Thank you especially to Diallo at the front desk!

Fantastic hotel!

I had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at this hotel. They organised a taxi to pick me up at the airport, as I arrived very late, and all went seamlessly. The hotel is located centrally for all attractions, the rooms are spacious and clean, with aircon and good WiFi. The breakfast is plentiful and you have the option of taking it in the lovely terrace or an indoors dining room. Mr Diallo was always incredibly helpful and ensured my stay was fantastic, always ready to give advice or help, even for a last minute lunch before my departure! I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to everybody.

The staff in this hotel is amazing from start until the departure. Everyone is making their best for customer having a great experience. Merci! Rooms are ok. Some taxi drivers had difficulties find the place and there is some noice from the street.

If you're looking for a hotel in Dakar, this is your best choice. The Wakola team -- particularly Mr Diallo and Florentin (at the restaurant -- are the kindest, most generous, and most welcoming hotel staff I've ever experienced. The hotel is clean and beautiful, and has everything you could possibly need. Mr Diallo goes well out of his way to help you, including answering any questions or making any arrangements on WhatsApp beforehand. The free breakfast is wonderful, and dinner at the rooftop restaurant is delicious and very reasonably priced. The hotel's location is perfect and safe -- it's especially good for anybody (like me) attending a conference at the Université Cheikh Anta Diop, as it's just a 20-minute walk or 5-minute taxi away. There's also a convenient supermarket and bureau de change just outside, and hailing taxis (via the Yango app) was always easy and fast. This is one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had, and I can't wait to stay with Wakola again on my next trip to Dakar. Mr Diallo and Florentin, THANK YOU!

Nous avons apprecié l’hospitalite inegalable qui nous a ete offerte au sein de cet hotel. A chaque moment de notre sejour nous avons pu compter sur des membres de l’equipe tous aussi souriants qu’efficaces. C’est ici l’occasion pour nous de remercier chacun d’eux : Diallo et son professionnalisme +++, Khady & Mietou pour leurs sourires et leur joie de vivre, Assanatou, Aïda & Marie Noël pour leur capacite a se transformer en fees du logis, Florentin, Abdou & Diarra pour nos petits dejeuners personnalisés et de bons conseils de visite, Ibrahim pour avoir veillé sur notre vehicule et plus generalement sur nous. Cet hotel est certes reserves a ceux qui souhaitent s’imerger dans le vrai dakar, le coeur de la medina, mais l’experience humaine en vaut vraiment le coup.

Mon séjour a été dans l'ensemble bien. L'accès à l'hôtel est facile. La conférence à laquelle j'étais invité se tenait à l'université Anta Diop, très proche de l'hôtel. Pas de congestion de traffic.
