Suite 201 "The Golden Eagle"

Experience the majesty of the Black Hills!
Incredible mountain vistas, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, Jewel and Wind Caves, endless hiking and biking trails, spectacular mountain lakes to fish, swim and boat, rodeos, and countless other adventures for making lifetime memories!

Located just minutes from Custer on 4 acres near the National Forest, our deluxe rooms offer Wi-Fi, TV with Netflix/Amazon prime, microwave and refrigerator, downstairs living room, outdoor deck and front porch rocking chairs all in a peaceful country setting.

All pictures are from last summer, but we'll have updated 'remodeled/upgraded' pictures as soon as possible. This Suite has a King Bed and Air Conditioning.

For the safety of our guests and visitors, along with our staff, we have installed exterior cameras to assist monitor the property.

Eagles Landing is a gem! Just a bit outside of Custer, close to the action but far enough away to relax. The host team were so welcoming including our goofy Lab. Relaxed atmosphere, with the feeling of your own private oasis yet you are being welcomed into someone’s home. If you travel with your dog and enjoy a nicer room than the average “dog friendly” this place is for you!

Great place to stay!

Wonderful experience at the Eagle Landing Lodge! Our room was very clean and comfortable with everything that we needed. Loved the attention they gave for the details. The host was helpful in giving us ideas for what to do in Custer. We will definitely stay there again!

First Trip to South Dakota

We had a great stay. The suite was comfortable and stylish. We had everything we needed and the host and property manger checked in to be sure our needs were met. Really enjoyed our evenings on the front porch with gas fire pit. Property location was convenient to Custer, Custer State Park and other sites. Would definitely return and highly recommend!

Great visit, wonderful Inn!

We had a wonderful first time visit to South Dakota and this little Inn was the perfect place to be home base for those 5 days! Lots of amenities as well!!

Quaint and Friendly

We found this property to be easy to find and welcoming. I’m told that it recently changed ownership, and the new owner was hard at work, already making improvements to the property. We we’re greeted, immediately upon arrival and felt very comfortable from the beginning. The place has several nice amenities and we feel that while our experience was very good, it might have been better if we had been given more information, even printed information about the amenities and particulars about the property. I might be knit-picking, because overall we are very happy and plan to return whenever in the area!

STOP IN FOR A NIGHT OR WEEK

The property is undergoing a transition. It has been very difficult for them due to the car accident of the manager. However, the daughter of the PM was tremendous. Landon handled everything we needed, cleaned the place, went to school, and performed at a very high rate. She saved the place. There are still some repairs to make to finish remodeling but that will come wwith time. A nice family that deserves support in a time of need. Rooms are very nice, the bed was amazing, the bath high tech with gizmos I was not used to operating (need an instruction booklet), and we never used the TV (no comment here). Place was quiet and relaxing although TV from the next room bled over to our room. Rates were very reasonable. Give the place a try if you are going to the Hills..
