Walkers can also set off on the Fife Coastal Path, taking in breathtaking views across the Tay and discovering hidden corners along the way. For a taste of Scottish heritage, visit the award-winning Lindores Abbey Distillery for a guided tour and a peek into the world of whisky-making. Families and animal enthusiasts will love the Scottish Deer Centre (8 miles), and history buffs can explore the magnificent Falkland Palace (8 miles).
