"Our family had such a lovely stay. The house was small, very cozy, absolutely spotless, and beautifully decorated. There were so many thoughtful touches - butter, eggs, and cream in the fridge, board games in the closet, DVDs in the bureau, laundry supplies, scented bath products, hairdryer, makeup remover pads, and even a bag of epsom salts in the bathroom. "Such a lovely stay!! Everything was comfortable, clean, and lots of space to relax and unwind. I don't usually book a shared home, but was sold on the animals. Homeowners were so sweet checking in on us when we arrived while also granting the privacy expected for a booking. Just perfect. A highlight of our stay was the walk to the pond. One of the baby cows, we named Roo, came to greet us and was so precious letting us pet him. Would definitely stay again if in the area."

"A really charming and quirky house, perched on an overlook above a bend in the James river. Very friendly host, nice grounds, and plenty to explore in the surroundings. We did some outdoor grilling and a fire in the pit on a very starry night. The kids were disappointed that the hottub wasn't working that weekend, but there were plenty of games and some swings nearby to keep them occupied."
