The unusually shaped natural rock formations of the so-called Enchanted City look as though they could have been carved by human hands.
Admire the Gothic-style façade, the modern stained-glass windows and the ecclesiastical treasures of the adjoining museum of the city’s landmark church.
Inspect works from some of the finest Spanish artists of the modern era at this museum, located in Cuenca’s historic cliff-edge Hanging Houses.
Stroll across this historic stone footbridge for front-row views of the famous Hanging Houses, which jut out from the cliffs overlooking the ravine.
Explore the great outdoors at Nacimiento río Cuervo, a lovely green space in Cuenca. Visit the area's cathedral, or simply enjoy its bars.

The town is beautiful but not tourist friendly even when you speak the language. Our arranged tour guide did not show up. The paradore was not helpful when asked for information. There are buses up the hill and many restaurants.
