You can find out about the history of Cuba with a stop at Seneca Oil Springs. While you're in the area, wander around the natural setting.
Did not have the opportunity to explore too much of the village of Cuba, but it is a nice small town with the typical ' New York southern tier small town ambiance'. We will go back to explore the village and area some more.
