"We held a work retreat at this location and it was incredible! Chirs was very helpful and communicative, and our check-in and check-out process was great! We enjoyed the cottage, the location right across from the beach, and the use of the sauna, hot tub and canoe and kayaks! Don't forget the firepit and the beautiful backyard. The front yard is also gorgeous and calming! We loved it! We would love ot return for our annual retreat next year, and highly recommend this place! "

"The property was in great shape, and looked as advertised. Correspondence with the owner was easy and fast. "

"Really loved the property, experience, and over all accommodations offered by the amazing owners. The AC was really nice in the heat, electricity and running water made our stay very comfortable. Having the option of TV was also nice once it was later. Perfect out door eating space, BBQ was handy and The wonderful tour of the animal sanctuary to end our stay was great and educational. I would definitely recommend, the owners made it a really great experience."

"From check-in the experience was not great. Communication was poor. The lockbox code wasn't provided on the Vrbo site and property owner didn't respond to messages. I fear had we not found the owner's contact info on Google we would not have had a place to sleep for the night. It was certainly a little embarrassing as the person who booked to have our group of 7 sitting in the driveway trying to figure out how to get in when the code should have been provided prior to arriving. "My family stayed here over Easter weekend and enjoyed our visit. The area is beautiful and the property is nice, since it was still chilly we enjoyed watching the birds on the water from inside. Unfortunately, the wi-fi was down almost our whole visit which apparently was out of the owners control. My only other complaints would be that the main floor was chilly as there is only 2 vents in the main area. The property manager was under the impression that there was electric baseboard heaters...

" The unkept and neglected exterior led to a grubby interior. One of the plastic deck chairs was broken and unusable. Floors were dirty and left our socks grey; there was pink mould in the tub & shower stalls, black mould on the water level of one toilet and no one had cleaned the ceiling ventilation fans or behind the toilets in either bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the bed linens were good. There was just one hand towel. Also, insufficient furniture in the bedrooms - night...

"I had an amazing stay at Sharmila’s lakehouse. She had everything we needed to ensure a fun and safe stay. The house was super clean and Sharmila was always readily available to answer any questions whenever we needed. I would recommended anyone else to stay here and book with Sharmila. "My family and i had a wonderful time staying at Vivian and Bill's property. The cottage is very large and allowed 7 adults, two teens, 4 children 7 and under and two small dogs to share the space very comfortably. No one ever felt like they were "on top" on one another and everyonenalways had a place to just relax quietly if that isbwhat they wanted. (And with the four kids, it was NOT always quiet lol). The dock was perfect for fishing, which we did every day and caught tons of fish (baby ones, and a few the size of our hands but that was perfect for the kids). The water trampoline was also a big hit as was the indoor hot tub. Communication with Vivian was incredible as was check in and check out. My cousins from Trinidad who were experiencing cottage life for the first time said they didn't want to leave. Thank you, Vivian and Bill, for a wonderful stay. We had such a great time and would love to come back sometime in the future. "
