"We had an enjoyable family weekend here. The cabin was very clean and well kept. They also provided so many nice amenities that are so helpful. The location was perfect, so peaceful. "I absolutely would've given 5 stars for everything but their were some small issues. Number one was one of the comforters had what appeared to be blood on it. I wasn't aware of this until one of my guests told me about it after we had checked out. Other than that the property was very clean! The second issue was the property having "lake access". I understand lake access isn't the same as lakefront and I did put lakefront in my search parameters. I assumed lake access would be a short walk...

"We had such a wonderful time! The property was great - even better than the pictures. Keith (owner) mentioned that we only needed to bring food and drink, and that was true; everything else was provided, e.g., well-stocked kitchen items, soap, shampoo, paper products, etc. We had a very restful time, relaxing on the deck and in the hot tub. Arrival and departure were so simple. We have already recommended this property to friends."

It is a pretty lake, close to family and very laid back and relaxing. The RV spot is large and shady, with a firepit and all the hookups necessary. It is a great location, in the neighborhood close to Whitney Ridge marina. We will definitely be back soon!"

"I wanted a place in Texas close to the April 8 2024 total eclipse centerline with plenty of clear space to setup telescopes and photography gear to catch the event.
