I wish I was leaving a better review. As everything seemed amazing when we arrived. We checked in a little later around 6 PM. We were quick to find out that the couch was broken and there was wood placed underneath the cushions as if to try and make it usable. We had no paper towel towels and very little toilet paper. No big deal, so we reached out to the host to let her know these things. She advised that the couch was perfectly fine so she would need to check it, she said that paper towels were left, but they were not. She had some toilet paper delivered which was nice but no paper towels, so we got our own. The house really does need some work. The lake is great, that is honestly the best part. But the house sits on kind of a slant so if you have vertigo or any of that, I would not recommend. It seems like they just tried to do quick fixes on the home. I unfortunately will not be staying again. The owner didn’t seem the most welcoming in the beginning and messaged us late at night before checkout, accusing us of turning off her router because she could not access her camera. Which we did not and the camera was also not in the listing and we were not aware of. It is right above outside the front door. We just did not see it. This house has a lot of potential but needs some real love and care. As well as the host could be more welcoming and understanding.
