"This place was great! I took my two boys here for a quick, close getaway. The cutest little cabin with everything you need to feel right at home. I would say perfect for a couples get away or even a loner retreat (little boys can be rowdy and really, the place is adorable). VERY CLEAN... I almost didnt want to use anything!! The hosts were fantastic. They even stopped by to bring more fire starters and wood, but were not a bother in the slightest. We roasted marshmallows in the pit out front which is placed perfectly in what i would call a tree garden. With trees placed perfectly around the fire the opening above you is perfect to watch the sky. We woke up to deer all around us and the morning sounds of fall. We will totally go back... my kids miss the cat."

We spent a long weekend with friends and enjoyed ourselves so much! The privacy and peaceful atmosphere is unsurpassed. We will be back! "Staying at Stoneflower felt like an honor. I love unique architecture, and I was not disappointed. My husband and I enjoyed the history of the place while looking through the magazine articles provided and just exploring the beauty that this building and its surroundings had to offer. Also I must say, for it being literally in the middle of a bunch of other houses you really did not feel surrounded, it was quiet and felt very private. I loved listening to the birds each morning and the simplicity of the building itself was so refreshing. It actually had an adventurous feel to it as well, showering in a waterfall in a cave was definitely a unique experience. Truly a beautiful experience and would definitely stay again!"
