" Our week at Casa do Monte far exceeded our expectations and will be a beautiful memory for our entire family. The ladies that took care of the breakfast and cleaning were wonderful and communication with Marcus was very easy. The breakfasts were delicious. "This is a room to remember! It is apparently new judging from the pristine condition and stylish modern amenities. The private hot tub on the patio is a welcome amenity after a long day of sightseeing and port wine tasting. The view out the windows is pastoral and inviting. Its just a short distance from the town, but its not practical to walk anywhere from here so we recommend if you have a car or are happy to use rideshares. The driveway entrance is non-descript so pics are below to help...

"Our stay was next to prefect… even the rainy weather couldn’t dampen our stay! Our room was beautiful with magnificent view of Douro…everywhere is like a storybook! We had dinner the 2 nights we stayed it was excellent. We did a wine tasting tour… tasting and learned so much! Quinta de la Rosa is only a short walk from town so we had a nice lunch in town and walk around! Prefect 2 nights!"
