"We had an issue with finding lots of giant winged ants crawling on the carpet and a couple black beetles as well. Especially when we turned heater on they would appear out of nowhere near the vents making me think they came from the vents. Needs an exterminator visit to spray around the house. It didn’t ruin our stay though! We just killed them when we would see them with paper towels and we only saw them in the day not at night which isn’t a huge issue since we were mostly out on hikes. "We loved this property! So spacious and comfortable. Perfect for the six of us. An easy 45 minute drive to Yosemite Valley. Loved the wood burning stove. The kitchen was spacious, the beds were comfy. A late season storm almost snowed us in. The owners’ staff were incredibly helpful and kind. "We had a good stay here once we were able to get into the house--the message we received with check-in information provided both the wrong house number and wrong door code. We could not reach the property manager to get the correct code (granted, we arrived at around 11pm and VRBO was able to eventually reach them), but fortunately we guessed the correct code. The wifi also went out completely 2 days into our stay. The house did have everything we needed and proximity to the valley was great."

"We went up to do some hiking and stayed 3 nights. We were really only in our rooms for a few hours each day before going to bed at night. I’m not sure I would’ve wanted to hang out in the room too much, but overall it was a pretty good stay. Don’t expect anything fancy, but I thought the rooms were good for the price. When we got there the bathroom in our room had a weird smell (I think from being cleaned and then having the door closed) but the lady at the desk put us in a new room no problem....
