With new rules, restrictions and safety measures to follow, travel looks a bit different at present. Here's what you should know before you fly off to Costa Esmeralda:

• Research if any travel restrictions apply to your destination and origin before locking in your flight. Also check if there are any conditions you'll have to follow on arrival, such as proof of a negative COVID-19 test.
• You're required to wear a face mask at the airport, including at security checkpoints. Be prepared to adjust your mask for identification purposes when asked by a TSA officer.

• You are now allowed to take one container of hand sanitizer up to 12 oz (350 ml) in your carry-on bag. This will need to be taken out for screening.
• Remove personal items from your pocket, such as your wallet, keys and phone, and place them in your carry-on instead of the bins. This will reduce handling during screening.
• If you're bringing food through security screening, put it in a clear plastic bag and then into a screening bin. This reduces the likelihood that a TSA officer will need to touch your food container or carry-on bag for inspection.
