「The property was very well maintained. The hotel was very well maintained. The room was very nice, spacious and immaculate. I wish every motel I stayed at was even close to this property. I could tell the family takes pride in their property. It’s about 1/2 mile or so to the main town walking. I would suggest this place to anyone looking for a place to stay.」

「The property is perfect for visiting Bar Harbor. It’s in easy walking distance to the town. The Looking Glass restaurant was wonderful. Listening to a piano player in the evening was a great way to end the day!」

「Location was great for Acadia National Park.
Breakfast is lacking, a lot of things are out of order or unavailable. Breakfast staff was seen disregarding proper food safety in regards to changing gloves after exiting the restroom and practicing hand hygiene before dealing with food items. After politely asking the staff to change their gloves, they argued with us and then confronted us once again while we were sitting at our table eating breakfast.」

「My wife and I had a truly wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Resort in Bar Harbor. The location is beautiful, and we loved reading by the water as the sun set. The rooms, the grounds, and all the facilities are very clean and well-maintained. The staff and management are so kind and accommodating, we felt completely taken care of. Would highly recommend this for a high-quality stay a short drive from downtown Bar Harbor!」
