I do not recommend booking this condo. It is a very nice condo with a perfect location at the base of Copper Mountain. It is clean and very well kept. However, the headaches I had with the owning company, Vacasa, is the reason I do not recommend. There are many other companies you can work with for renting condos at Copper Mountain. I recommend you go that route if you want a convenient, headache free experience.
My issues:
1) The key to the condo and the parking is 30 minutes out of the way (15 minutes each way). I was skiing at Copper Mountain all day on 1/22 (my check in date). Then, after my long day of skiing, I had to load up all of the gear for myself and my guests to travel 30 minutes out of the way to go pick up the condo key.
2) Then, when I showed up at the lock box location, the key was missing. I called the customer service number and was asked to leave a voicemail since all customer service representatives were busy. So, I did. Then, I waited for a call back in the parking lot. I didn't receive a call back during my 10-15 minutes of waiting. So, I then proceeded to call until I was able to get through. In total, I had to wait around 20 minutes to get through to a customer service representative. Then, luckily there was a backup key.
3) Lastly, I had an early flight that left Denver at 7am. So, I was planning on returning the key to the lock box location at 4am. I was concerned that the lock box location would not be open so early, since it was an office building. So, I called around 4pm and, again, had to leave a voicemail because all representatives were busy. I asked for a call back as soon as possible, so I would know what to do. However, I never received a call back.
I reached out to Vacasa to express my concerns and they were very responsive. I did request some compensation for the issues I encountered during my stay, but they said, "I do not believe these issues constitutes a refund."
