Wonderful hotel with an amazing location. The spa is fantastic, and staff in this part of the hotel is so lovely and helpful. Waiting staff somewhat inexperienced. Very much enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Rooms are traditional and slightly dated, but very fresh and clean.

Nice hotel, preorder massage if you want that, ( we had 3 days stay with 3 days waiting for next available massage appointment. Super breakfast. Lots of parking, even with a trailer, sweet employees. We would easily come back.

Nice hotel, needs a refurb

Nice hotel, great friendly service. However, the hotel building is in need of a general refurb / lick of paint and the rooms could do with a design update incl. a mini-fridge in the room with complimentary water for guests. The spa should be restricted to adults only.

Our group really enjoyed the spa facilities. Wonderful pools & saunas. The location next to the Baltic was amazing. We visited both the public & private docks to jump into the sea water. Restaurant food was excellent. However, while the hotel was very nice, they do not have air conditioning. Rooms were very warm. Staff did supply a fan but an investment in HVAC should be considered.

This was a lovely place to come and relax. I misunderstood when booking as it indicated that guests had access to the spa, but didn’t state that there is a daily charge. Luckily we had opted for evening spa access as part of our booking, but this is when you would have dinner so unless you eat very early you can’t make full use of it.. Both the restaurant and bar area were lovely but limited menu in each. The whole place was immaculate, and staff were friendly and helpful. The small private beach was beautiful.

Grådigheden kender ingen grænser

Allerede inden vores ankomst blev vi spammet af Kurhotel Skodsborg med forsøg på mersalg - restaurantbesøg, spabehandlinger m.v. Ved ankomst blev vi oplyst, at det ville koste 400 kr / person at komme ind i spa-afdelingen 30 min før kl. 18, hvor vores "evening access" startede. Toilettet på værelset løb, og det blev ikke udbedret trods henvendelse til receptionen. Da vi oplyste dette ved checkout, fik vi et "Det var godt nok ærgerligt. Var I meget forstyrret af larmen?" med på vejen, men intet tilbud om en mindre kompensation. Vi kan kun sige, at niveauet på ingen måde har levet op til vores forventninger, og at vi fremover vil holde os til at besøge Marienlyst, hvor vi er kommet mange gange og hver gang har oplevet sublim service.
