Another great weekend at the Lakehouse!
This was my fourth weekend stay at the Lakehouse, and it is fast becoming a home away from home. The beds and linen are so comfortable, and so appreciated! And the open plan living area is just perfect for enjoying the view, I could sit back and look out over that lake all day!

Beautiful family holiday
We went with our 4 adult children and some of their partners 9 in total. The home is huge and we were all very comfortable in our rooms. The view from the balcony is amazing. We went fishing, kayaking and out on the boat and of an evening we sat around the fire pit and then inside for a game of pool. I cannot recommend The Lake House high enough and the communication with the host was great

A great getaway with a big family
We had an awesome stay at the Lake-house with my husbands family. The house is massive, was clean, kitchen was very well equipped, balcony was amazing! Would definitely recommend this property to big family groups. Thanks for having us!

Fantastic house, great views, wonderful family holiday
We spent a week with family at The Lakehouse. Very comfortable, great amenities, awesome views. House is big enough for everyone to have their own space, so good that dining table is big enough for everyone to eat together. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and basic pantry items. Good Internet, access to streaming channels was a nice inclusion. Fire pit was a nice touch too. Contact with owner was excellent - definitely recommend The Lakehouse.

That was awesome stay!
We stayed with 15 of us plus a dog for 2nights. Accomodation was tidy and huge space. All amenity was there so you can just bring yourself to stay there. Surrounded by nature and water we spent very nice time in there. House owner Alan was flexible and he done quick response anytime. Thank you Alan.

Luxury holiday home by the lake
My friend’s family and my family enjoyed a unforgettable holiday at the Lakehouse. The property is roomy, clean, has plenty of facilities, and everything is thoughtfully appointed. On top of that Alan’s communication with us has been efficient and clear. I will definitely recommend my friends visit the Lakehouse.

The Lake House
Another wonderful stay at the Lakehouse. The house works so well for our family with room for everyone. We all had a fabulous holiday. Direct access to the lake means we get to use the boat more which is a bonus. Wonderful views too.

Amazing holiday house extremely well appointed!
Lakehouse is a wonderful holiday home. This house is all about luxury! Very spacious, with high quality furnishings and adjacent to a lake. If you enjoy cooking this place has the lot! We were amazed at how well appointed the property was, when trying to relax whilst enjoying the view on the patio area. We loved how there was so much equipment. A lot of care and attention has been put into this property and it really shows. You may not be right on the beach but the property itself well and truly makes up for it. Highly recommend!

Family grt together
We had a wonderful weekend. the house was comfortable with plenty of heaters to keep us warm. Loved the big screen TV especially with the footy for the boys. Definately recommend the property for a family stay.

We’re so excited to get to The Lakehouse and boy did it live up to its write up. What an amazing well decked out house - could just walk in with your food as just everything is there! We took Kayaks /fishing rods kids / dogs scooters and all had an amazing time. The lights along the deck are a special treat and we just loved our time there - Thankyou so much - we’re already planning our next get together. Don’t tell to many people how fantastic it is or we won’t get another booking in!! Thankyou again

I spend 4 nights at coomba park home stat retreats. It was magical. Beautiful house. Best view from the outside deck. The best part was the Jetty. My guys spend all day fishing.

Absolutely beautiful location. Now I know the distance from Forster I would stay a bit longer and take a proper shop. The fishing is amazing. Caught lots of brim and flat head. So much fun and room for everyone.

It's in a such a beautiful location away from the suburban areas and away from all hustle and bustling of the city. It's such a peaceful place and would highly recommend to those who are seeking a peace of mind.

Lovely spacious house that accommodated all the family well. Huge deck with an amazing vew. Kangaroo and deer sightings that thrilled the little ones. A great week away for us all. The only issue was the amount of insect/mozzies around at the time. Will certainly consider going back to the Lake House.

We enjoyed our weekend getaway. The property was large enough to cater for 3 families. We enjoyed fishing on the pier, watching the kangaroos and visiting Blueys beach. The only downside was that we had to buy lots of water as they use a rainwater tank.

Hi Jae, Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. Please note, if you read the listing and the guest info, it will state that the house runs solely on rain water due to its location. So, the water in the rainwater tank is actually clean to drink, as we service it regularly . You could also boil the water if needed. Regards, Alan.

Great setup and location
Our annual get together of old school friends Were very impressed with this property and location. The only 3 minor niggles were the need for better block out curtains in the rear bedrooms due to a bright outside light at the rear of the house, the lack of a flat plate on the bbq for cooking bacon and eggs and some larger glasses for mixed drinks. These minor issues did not in any way detract from our overall enjoyment of our stay

Huge property with plenty of space for everyone. Large deck area and play ground on water edge for kids to enjoy. Spotting deers and Kangaroos makes stay even more exciting. Well maintained and clean property.

Very quiet, lots of space, great for multiple familes
We stayed here with 3 families. We brought kayaks and lilos for the lake. We had a great time. There was plenty of space outside for the kids to play on the grass (cricket, frisbee etc), as well as DVDs, books and board games inside. There were several different eating areas, so the adults and kids didn't all have to squeeze around the one table. There were plenty of different bedrooms (3 quite large ones and 3 smaller ones). The kitchen was large and had basic equipment. There was one oven tray, some saucepans, a rice-cooker and colanders (we were glad we brought extra baking trays, a slow-cooker and a blender). There was no glad-wrap or alfoil. Next time, I would bring extra cutlery, as we kept running out. The suburb was extremely quiet - make sure you pack everything you need, as it was 40 minute drive to the bigger supermarkets at Forster (although there was a general store nearby). The house was on tank water, so we were advised to bring drinking water and limit the length of showers etc. We had no problems. I would thoroughly recommend this property to larger groups wanting a quiet place to relax together.
