Perfectly situated between Int 80 and Hwy 50, in the Heart of Gold Country, make B-B Ranch Cottage your private, country retreat.

Uniquely positioned in the middle of the Gold Country`s many recreational activities, you will find some of the world`s finest horseback riding and mountain biking trails as well as white water rafting and kayaking, all within minutes of your stay.

B-B Ranch is a serene and peaceful working cattle ranch, surrounded by our resident horses, cattle, chickens and dogs, not to mention the multitude of wildlife that frequent the ranch. Bring your horse along to enjoy your stay in our fully enclosed barn, and your dog to enjoy the ranch life experience as well. There is a pet fee of $50. per dog per stay and $15. per night per horse which includes stall and feeding.

Relax in the peacefulness of ranch life and if you are inspired to cook, you will love the brand new kitchen. Enjoy picking your own vegetables from the salsa garden when in season and the herbs right from your own front deck. Farm fresh eggs will be stocked in your refrigerator upon arrival as well as a goodie basket of treats for your stay. You will enjoy special delivery packages delivered to your front door with freshly harvested goodies from the garden as the season allows. But peacefulness, is nothing without relaxation first, so enjoy your own private HOT TUB complete with BBQ and seasonal fire pit areas. Please note: We are a high fire hazard area, so open flame fires are only permitted in season.

To entertain you, the game parlor, complete with WiFi books, board and card games, bluetooth capable vinyl record player and vintage radio, full spectrum 50` SMART TV with complete Direct-TV and Netflix programming, you will find plenty of options to keep you entertained. For working remotely, we offer several laptop friendly workspaces including comfortable desk chairs and lamp, smart monitor and speakers and multiple charging stations with phone chargers and built-in usb wall ports. There is also a private workspace with desktop when total privacy is needed. If just unwinding is your plan, you will find it easy to complete the stress free experience you`re searching for as you will love the spa shower complete with jacuzzi soaking tub to melt all of your cares and sore muscles away. Sink into your pillow top mattress with 1250 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets and you won`t find the need to count sheep at night to help you drift right off to sleep. And as you awake in the morning, you`ll find both the Nespresso and Keurig coffee makers and a great selection of teas and cider to start your morning off on the right note.

If you want more activities, hiking, boating and off roading are all within a 30 minute drive or the slopes of the Sierra`s are just over an hour away. If relaxing is more in order, you can easily find a myriad of vineyards for wine tasting and touring the historic town of Coloma, where gold was first discovered within minutes away. History abounds with the towns of Auburn and Placerville and the many other historic Gold Rush towns and Historic State Parks along scenic Hwy 49, awaiting your discovery all within a short drive away.

The best way to get around is by car due to our rural location.
