「This place is great. The location is perfect for exploring Connemara. The house is away from busy streets, thus very quiet. Our room was great, clean, well equipped bathroom. Our host, Sue, was super-friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was great, several options, all good. So, a perfect 5 of 5! 」
「We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay with this wonderful hospitality team. Yes, the lodge is in the middle of nowhere but that’s the point. Plenty to do in the countryside or within 15 minutes drive, and wonderful food awaits you upon returning. Not sure we’ll ever make it back, but encourage you to spend at least one if your Connemara nights by the cozy fires at the Lach Inach Lodge. 」

Though we met kind strangers and viewed indescribable beauty in our travels around Ireland, the isolated, quiet and luxury of the Connemara Sands was a balm for our souls and a treat to the senses. The menu was thoughtful and the food first class; the accommodations were roomy and tasteful with views of the Connemara landscape and sheep roaming cliffside.
