"We had a lovely time. The apartment was very spacious and well equipped. It is a great rural retreat, not to far from the coast and we were able to get to some very pretty towns and villages relatively quickly. This is certainly a beautiful part of Italy. Hugh was very welcoming and informative. The only downside of our stay was the viscous Mosquitos. If you are prone to being bitten you will need insect repellent on night and day."

Casa Wales provided all of this; a beautiful, very old farmhouse lovingly restored set amidst rolling hills, and surrounded by mountain top villages. "It's a lovely remote location, quiet but close enough to the village and the beach. The contact with the owner is great, he really took care for us, so we would enjoy the holiday even more. We were with a party of 5 adults and a big dog, and none of us has something to complain about. It was just super!"

"We had the absolute best time at Il Melograno — it was everything we dreamed of and more. From the moment we arrived, Candida made us feel so welcomed and cared for. She and her wonderful team (and family!) went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for our stay and our wedding.The venue was breathtaking — the perfect setting for our small, 27-person wedding. We followed Candida’s recommendation and worked with Magie di Pasta (Davide and his team), who created the most delicious meal for our wedding and made every moment feel so special.In the days leading up to the wedding, we organized a pasta-making class right at the villa and went on local wine tastings — such a fun and memorable way to spend time with our guests before the big day.One thing to note for future guests: we definitely recommend renting cars, as the villa is tucked away in a peaceful and private area, and having a car makes it much easier to explore the surrounding region. Taxis were a bit of a struggle as it was time to check in and checkout of the villa. We’re so grateful to Candida and everyone at Il Melograno for making this experience so magical.
